Job Description

 

If you believe that the internet of cars will be the next big thing, you may be the one for High Mobility. We are looking for a Business Development Manager (f/m/x) in Berlin to work with us in our next phase of customer traction. We’re looking for a well-spoken business developer who can execute well in finding companies driven by vehicle data to join our ecosystem. Our team has built High Mobility into one of the leading brands for vehicle-specific data and are looking to make the next big leap - taking our customers and partners over the finish line into the emerging API economy.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be forging effective relationships with relevant customers and partners in the mobility field. The key industry segments where we are active are insurtech, fleet management, eMobility and automotive aftersales. If you combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach and are always driven by finding the best solution for a customer, you are the one for us. Like the rest of the team, our ideal candidate is driven by new technologies, has demonstrated success in complex environments and wants to solve connected car challenges. Sounds like you?

 

Your Role

  • To build and execute on high-performance business development plans for partnerships;
  • Having the skillset to create and maintain strategic account management for high profile opportunities;
  • The ability to understand and empathise with customer pain points and to connect those to the company vision;
  • The dedication for continuous research and the ability to identify new business opportunities and lead them to a deal;
  • Be part of forming our sales targets and forecasts;
  • Report sales activities, their impact and achieved successes to the sales directors and the founders;
  • Engage with the marketing team to help amplify our growth trajectory;
  • Represent the company and the founders at high-profile events.


Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B business development or sales (preferably SaaS companies);
  • Experience in sales and business development of API-driven platforms or digital marketplaces;
  • Significant knowledge of trends and innovation when it comes to new mobility;
  • Responsiveness with email. Flawless communication. Perfect follow-up. You know when to wait, when to apply pressure and when to put top priority to close;
  • Excellent negotiation and organisational skills, with an emphasis on priorities and achievement of targets;
  • You are very serious about doing things right; people who know you respect your integrity (we will check);
  • Proven track record with demonstrable achievements;
  • Motivated to enable change and excited by our business model;
  • Fluent English and German;
  • Team player with outstanding communication skills.
